Reflexology

Reflexology is based on the belief that there are reflex areas on the feet (and hands) corresponding to all the parts of the body including major organs and glands. When stimulated these reflexes can help to balance the body so that all organs work in harmony with each other.

Most people can benefit from Reflexology. It can bring relief to a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions and is suitable for all ages. Once the body has been rebalanced, regular treatments can help to maintain health and general well-being.

The greatest benefit derived from Reflexology is relaxation.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of essential oils. An essential oil is an aromatic essence, distilled from a single botanical source. True essential oils have nothing added to them, and nothing taken away. Essential oils can have many different effects on the body, mind and spirit. They can be sedative or stimulating, some have an analgesic and antispasmodic effect, most are antibacterial. Essential oils can aid in skin care and wound healing.

There are many different ways of using essential oils therapeutically - in baths, inhalations, compresses, creams or lotions, but perhaps one of the most pleasant, relaxing and therapeutic ways, is through aromatherapy massage.
